One day, out of the blue, I was removed from the UX team and assigned to the new QA Engineering department as the UX QA Engineer. As it was explained to me, I had a sense about UX and that skill was needed somewhere else. I thought someone was just trying to save my job. The QA Director and team of QA Engineers welcomed me, trained me and supported me. I was finally accepted, and believe me, teaching me QA wasn’t easy. They brought in a Human Factors specialist who trained me on the human experience side of web experiences. I was hooked.
