Usually when someone changes jobs they get a two week ease out before diving into their new gig.  Not me. The pieces of my career change and sale of Cre8asiteforums clicked into place quickly.  For weeks I couldn’t tell anyone where I was going or that I’d sold the forums.  However, the forums moderators all knew, as did my own family.  To their credit, my secret was held, or at least, not blasted out too loudly. I’ve been teaching myself new things lately and one of them is getting away from the Thesis theme I traditionally use, and trying out other blog themes. That’s why this site looks different. So does Cre8asiteforums. The new forums home page is in limbo and not finished yet, but it looks far better than the previous home page did. Not only are themes interesting to get to know, but so are new CSS3 tricks. I’m not much a designer. OtherRead more…

Cligs (URL shortener) inventor, programmer, marketer and web developer, with a PhD in bacterial genetics from Cambridge University, Pierre Far aka “eKstreme”, officially announced today he has been hired by Google.com. That’s the good news. The sad news is that this means Cre8asiteforums loses its Technical Administrator and long-time Moderator. However, we’re very proud and can boast that the forums has lost two of our finest from the Cre8tive Community – John Mueller aka “johnmu” and now Pierre (not toRead more…
