		<description>The kindle can be read outside in glaring sunshine as well as a traditional book can, and the battery lasts for days, so unless you plan on getting stranded on a desert island for a very long time, you&#039;re probably ok with having it with you while hiking.  You could also have lots of info on it, such as books on what to do if you get hurt while hiking, what the best hiking trails are in the area, what that plant is that is in front of you, etc.  Try carrying a few hundred books in your backpack to make sure you have the one you need, or carry them all in one little device the size of one book.  :)</description>
